DAN ECKMAN
(Director / Writer / Producer)
A native of Manchester, NH, Dan Eckman has been writing, producing, directing, and editing short films since the age of 15 and his work has been screened at numerous film festivals across the country. A 2005 graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a B.F.A in Film and TV Production, Dan is the film director for the sketch comedy group Derrick with whom he has made dozens of short films. During the summer of 2003, he was the cinematographer and producer of the independent feature Coasters. More recently, his short film Granted has been screened at various festivals on both coasts. Dan is currently the in-house editor and videographer for Blue Man Group and his work has been seen on the 57th Primetime Emmy Awards and the 2005 Billboard Music Awards among others.
DOMINIC DIERKES

Dominic has been writing and performing comedy since the age of fifteen when he began touring comedy clubs nationwide as a stand-up comedian. Dominic is a founding member of the sketch comedy troupe the Wicked Wicked Hammerkatz (ECNY Winner Best Sketch Group 2005) where he wrote and performed in four of their full-length sketch revues which enjoyed extended runs at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York. At the UCB Theatre, Dominic performs on the Harold Team fwand and is a highly trained improviser having studied with Ian Roberts, Matt Besser, Matt Walsh, and Armando Diaz among others. He holds a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production from New York University where he wrote many short films including Granted which screened at many film festivals including the Rhode Island International Film Festival and the Palm Beach International Film Festival. Dominic is currently in development with Comedy Central co-writing a pilot with the other members of the sketch comedy trio, Derrick. You can see Derrick's videos online at derrickcomedy.com
MEGGIE MCFADDEN

Meggie McFadden is a recent graduate of Fordham University. Over the past few years, she has produced several films including the 2003 feature Coasters and the 2004 short film Granted, which screened at many festivals throughout the country. Throughout college, Meggie worked as a production assistant and intern on a number of NYC based television shows including Queer Eye and Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Currently, Meggie is working at Busboy Productions, a New York based production company that produces The Daily Show and The Colbert Report among others. |
